if you’re honestly saying it’s not about the ship but their potential itself as a sub-unit - you’re a full of shit. why? because yoongi and jimin’s voice compliment each other. you’re lying to yourself if you say that isn’t true. yoongi’s is rough and husky and jimin’s is high and mellow and together they make up for what the other is missing. obviously this is more of a preference -you might not be into good musical arrangement- but generally speaking it’s pleasing to the ear. (it’s why bangtan’s song’s are layered the way they are). all of that aside, you don’t even know if it would sound good or not / if you would like it or not - the fact that you are willing to write off the possibility of the success of the sub-unit before even hearing the music they produce makes you seem like an immature asshole but of course - it’s not about the ship right?

if you say it’s because “the under-appreciated members should get a chance to shine” - you’re also full of shit. especially when you list namjoon and jungkook in your suggestions because why not give jungkook more lines? that’d be perfect wouldn’t it. and like how about giving namjoon 3 more rap verses? perfect. >.> yoongi and jimin usually have the shortest amount of time in a song (i’m not saying they’re the only ones, but they are frequently on the bottom of the list). they’re so often over looked too. if you asked armys in general whose the best at dancing? hoseok, whose the best rapper? namjoon, whose the best vocalist? jungkook  so i think it’s about damn time they give yoongi and jimin some time to shine and show us the extent of their talents. 

if you claim “anyone but yoonmin” because they are your “notp” and because you can’t stand the fact that “everyone in the fandom” will love their music / support them simply because they are a popular ship, and then try to brush off your fucking salt by saying “it’s not because they are my notp” - you’re honestly a liar and a fake and your should probably get that checked because you cannot handle people being happy and supporting bts, supporting yoongi and jimin, and that’s so pititful in itself. above all, music will be the determinant. and knowing yoongi it would be good music so stfu. even if music is not the reason people support a yoonmin subunit it shouldn’t matter because it’s still them supporting bts - which as bts fans is more important than stupid ship wars.

reminder: this isn’t about fanservice, your ship, or your fave members.  if you claim that you “don’t agree” with it simply based on the RUMORED most likely fake announcement of the members - you’re fucking full of shit. as bts fans you should respect both their choices (since both members have mentioned they’d like to work with one another) and their craft.  regardless of who bts debuts as a unit first (if at all) you should support based on their music - not already bitch and complain before any music is even released or anything is even confirmed SIMPLY BECAUSE YOU DO NOT LIKE THE RUMORED PAIR TOGETHER.
